A vacancy is available for a full-time on-site Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
Our client is an IoT business that provides next-generation mobile applications, systems and solutions. They’re a hardware & software company that has built a product from the ground up.
Job Description
As an SDET / QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our next-generation IoT-based mobile applications, systems, and solutions.
You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to design and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test automation, and a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or Software Tester in a fast-paced software development environment.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test automation using frameworks like Selenium, QMetry, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripting.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
- Team Player: Strong team collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough and meticulous approach to testing to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Passion for Quality: A passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
