We have an exciting job opportunity available for a Computer Engineer in the role of Software Engineer.
The company is looking for a Graduate Computer or Electronic Engineer who is a curious problem-solver, with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B Eng Computer or Electronic Engineering Degree.
- 0 to 3 years’ experience as a Software Engineer / Developer.
Job Description:
- This role will focus on the maintenance, development, and upgrade of the company’s Cloud Platform. The initial tasks will be focused on Dashboard and cross platform Mobile Application development.
- Technologies: C#, C/C++, .NET, SQL Server, JS, React Native and more.
- Coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
- Work within a software development life cycle, which is approved in policy, governance, and company standards.
- Work in an agile environment and be able to switch comfortably between work tasks based on priorities set out by team leads.
Required skills:
- Experience in JavaScript, C/C++, HTML / CSS, C#, ASP.NET and REST API’s.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Visual Studio. Proficient understanding of object notation, JSON.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, i.e. GIT.
- Proficient understanding of OOP.
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Beneficial skills:
- Experience with:
- A microservice cloud architecture.
- Mobile app development.
- Web app development.
- Real-time back-end systems.
