Data Engineer (Remote)

Job title:  Data Engineer (Machine Learning | AI | Data Science)
A new vacancy is available for a Data Engineer to join our client’s team of engineering professionals in the data science, engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence domains.

With the power of advanced machine learning algorithms, our client transforms data into actionable business insights for their customers.

The role involves playing a key part in constructing and optimising the data pipeline, ensuring efficient data flow that supports advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will translate complex datasets into actionable insights and should be adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and improve data-driven products and services.

Requirements:

  • M.Eng or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering is advantageous.
  • Minimum a B.Eng in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience, skilled in data engineering and adept at designing and managing big data workflows.
  • The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in building, analysing, and collecting large datasets.
  • Proficiency in big data tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, and expertise in handling both time series and relational data are essential.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI would be an asset.
