Job title:  Embedded Software Engineer | Design Engineer

Location: Centurion (Office-based)
A new vacancy is available for an Embedded Software Engineer | Design Engineer to join our client’s design and development team.

This role is a full-time office-based position requiring on-site attendance.

Requirements:

  • BEng Electronic or Computer Engineering degree or higher
  • 3+ Years of relevant work experience in the development of software
  • 3+ Years of work experience in embedded software development using the C programming language
  • At least 1 year of experience in software development using the C++ programming language.
  • Python / Java / Linux skills advantageous.
  • Analysis and design skills.
  • South African citizenship essential.

Prime Responsibilities include:

  • Software design and development
  • Capture and analyse user requirements
  • Design and implement solution
  • Create project documentation
  • Undertake technology research
  • Organise and attend reviews
  • Make regular software builds
  • Address Support and Production requests
  • Writing technical design documentation
  • Mentoring
  • Assist Business Development.

Remuneration: Market-related CTC Package, and dependent on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
