Job Description
Job title:  System Integration Engineer

Locations: Stellenbosch
A vacancy is available for a System Integration Engineer to join one of our client’s highly talented engineering team in Stellenbosch.

The role requires involvement in the integration of complex systems comprising diverse components and subsystems.

As a System Integration Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of integration environments and the development of software frameworks, procedures and applications to integrate systems.

The quality of customer solutions and the establishment of proactive measures and procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction is essential for this role.

Qualifications and Years of Experience Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (M.Eng. or MSc.Eng) + 3 year’s experience in an aligned position.

OR

  • B.Sc. Computer Science, BEng (with Computer Science subjects up to final year) or equivalent qualification plus 5 years’ relevant experience in an aligned position.

OR

  • Minimum a B.Tech (Computer Studies) or B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) plus 5 years’ relevant experience in an aligned position.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Strong software skills and abilities are essential
  • Java skills required
  • Database skills required
  • Experience in software integration
  • Experience in complex system integration
  • Experience in or background knowledge of the Telecoms industry
  • Experience in C++, Google Go, Python or other scripting language will be advantageous.
