Software Development Engineer – Centurion

Job title:  Software Engineers (ICT Sector)
A multidisciplinary engineering company in the ICT industry is searching for talented Software Engineers to join their team.

We are seeking Software Development Engineers comfortable working with C and C++ on an operating system level.

Requirements:

  • B Eng Computer Engineering degree essential
  • 3 or more years of experience in software development
  • Skilled in C and C++ development
  • Good understanding of networking and network security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • UML understanding
  • South African citizenship

Advantageous Skills & Experience:

  • Development in UNIX, QT applications
  • Experience working with source control (git) and product release cycle management (e.g. Jira)
  • Understanding of cryptography and cryptographic principles (application)
  • Knowledge of VPN/IPsec would be beneficial

Successful candidates will work in a team responsible for developing a range of products, including trusted operating systems, secure network encryptors, and Public Key Infrastructure. The team will use various development environments, and the server products will be UNIX-based.
