Junior Software Engineer vacancy available in Centurion.

Our client is ideally looking for a Computer or Electronic engineering graduate with some exposure to C# and Cloud development.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will focus on the maintenance, development, and upgrade of the company’s Cloud Platform. The initial tasks will be focused on Dashboard and cross platform Mobile Application development.

Coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Work within a software development life cycle, which is approved in policy, governance, and company standards.

Work in an agile environment and be able to switch comfortably between work tasks based on priorities set out by team leads.

Qualifications and Experience:

Skills:

JavaScript, C/C++, HTML / CSS, C#, ASP.NET and REST API’s.
Agile development methodologies.
Exposure to software design and development in a test-driven environment.
Exposure to working with Microsoft Visual Studio. Proficient understanding of object notation, JSON.
Understanding of code versioning tools, i.e. GIT.
Understanding of OOP.
Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
