Job title:  Junior Business Development Engineer
We’re seeking an exceptional Engineering Graduate / Junior Engineer to join our client’s team as a Business Development Engineer.

Minimum Education Required:  BEng Degree – Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in sales, marketing or other related fields will by advantageous, however not essential.
  • No work experience is required as this is an entry-level position.

About the Role:

To excel in this role, you should have a drive to pursue and close new business opportunities.

This position involves an estimated breakdown that consists of 70% Business Related skills and 30% Engineering skills. The preference for engineers as Business Developers is because of their technical engineering skills and knowledge towards the detail, design and build of relevant products.

The goal of this position is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales, developing products and solutions and forging strong relationships with clients. You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Establish international and domestic client network
  • Prepare sales contracts
  • Develop goals for the development team and develop a growth strategy
  • Provide after-sales support
  • Identify new markets and improve sales
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry-related events.


  • Willing to travel internationally and have a valid passport
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and well well-presented
  • Show adequate IT efficiency
  • Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
