Position: Technical Digital Marketing Specialist

Location:  Remote and Claremont 2-3 days per week

Job Description: We are seeking a Technical Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Google Ads, Facebook Catalog Ads, and Klaviyo email marketing. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how different digital channels work and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that promote the products of our company and our clients.
  • Expertly handle Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and video ads. Ads need to scale dynamically, making use of our web platform with customised feeds and integrations
  • Manage and optimize Facebook Catalog Ads to maximize reach and conversion for travel and automotive products.
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, ensuring high levels of deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates.
  • Customer flows based on user activity and strong A/B testing should be conducted.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Meet with customers monthly to report on performance and revise strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.
  • Be sure to include a geeky joke in your application. Yes, this is a trick question to see if you read the requirements.
  • Develop, improve, maintain and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs). If you say it twice, write it down.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad campaigns with advanced conversion tracking.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or Klaviyo email marketing.
  • Previous experience in the travel or automotive industry is highly advantageous.
