Job title: Junior Embedded Software Engineer | Engineering Graduate

Locations: Randburg, Jhb (Office-based)

An Engineering Graduate vacancy is available in embedded software development and electronic design and development.

The company develops electronic systems for the South African mining and industrial sectors.

Requirements:

B.Eng or M.Eng Electronic | Computer | Mechatronic Engineering Degree or
BSc Electrical (Information) Engineering Degree or
Biomedical Engineering degree.
No postgraduate experience required.
Candidate must have an interest in electronic design and development, embedded software development and system integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
South African citizenship essential.
No criminal record.
Own transport and valid driver’s license.

Role description:

Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to design and develop electronic products and systems.
Embedded software development, coding and testing for drivers and application code.
Linux-based application software development, coding and testing.
System integration and debugging.
Technical specification and documentation
Liaison with client on system requirements
Preparation of technical product support documents.
