Job title:  RF Engineering Manager

Locations: Cape Town
Summary:

The RF Manager role is essential to lead the development of advanced radar, radio, and signal intelligence systems, ensuring cutting-edge solutions meet industry standards and compliance. This position focuses on defining product architecture, overseeing RF and antenna designs, maintaining quality assurance, and driving innovation through strategic planning and mentorship of the engineering team. It combines technical expertise with leadership to solve complex RF challenges.

The company develops cutting-edge RF products ranging from Radios, Radars (Sense and Avoid) and signal intelligence products.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • From 10 years of industry experience.
  • Proficient in Matlab, Ansys, HFSS, Altium.
  • Sound knowledge of RF Theory, RF Electronic Design, Antenna Design, Patch Antenna Design, Measurement Techniques, Wireless Communication, Beam Forming, Radar, Radios, Synthetic Aperture Radar, Power Amplifiers, Mixers, Low Noise Amplifiers, Diplexers, High Speed Digital to Analog Converters, High Speed Analog to Digital Converters, Circulators, Splitter/Combiners, Regulatory Compliance.
  • Essential skills: Leadership, Requirement Management, System Engineering, Product Development, and Document Writing Skills.
